Zumba Classes

One of the best ways to Rise and Exercise is to sign up for Zumba Classes. You’ve probably heard a lot about the new sport, and maybe even know people that do it. Well, if you haven’t tried it yourself, it’s time to give it a shot. Classes are usually pretty cheap, and are offered all over the world. If you live in a city of almost any size, you will most likely be able to find a Zumba class.

Classes are usually held in the early morning which is a great way to get people out of bed and exercising first thing. What it is, is a modern fitness dance. It uses popular modern music mixed with Aerobic high-intensity dancing to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing. It’s a lot of fun, and it a real workout. It’s even more fun if you can get some of your friends to join you.

Make sure you can loosen up when you go to class. If you’re timid or self-conscious about dancing, don’t worry about it, just go and loosen up and have a great time, and feel your muscles burn. If you can’t seem to find a class that fits your needs, you can bring Zumba home with you with the DVDs. The DVDs provide everything a class provides except the motivation of a set schedule, a real instructor, and classmates.

Zumba is relatively new, but it is sweeping the world quick. The reason people love it so much is because it works so well, and it’s so easy to learn. Anyone can do it, and they can bring their grandmother with them. If you want to find some sort of fun recurring exercise that will get you out of bed in the morning, you’re not alone. And over 12 million people now turn to Zumba classes to get that.

Cardiovascular training

The next important exercise is Cardiovascular Training. Cardiovascular means “The Heart” and “Blood Vessels”. It has to do with how quick our heart can pump blood to our muscles to provide them with oxygen.

Our heart is a muscle just like all our other muscles. It is the strongest and most active muscle in our bodies. Just like other muscles, the more we use it, the stronger it gets. When we have a strong heart, it can pump blood quicker and provide our muscles with more oxygen to help them keep going.

This is why when our heart can’t keep up with what we’re asking from it, we automatically breath much faster and harder. This is to make up the difference in oxygen. We have to bring much more oxygen into our body in order to keep going. When we have a very strong cardiovascular system, we can stay active for a long time before we start huffing and puffing for oxygen. This is how marathon runners can run for so long without collapsing.

A great way to exercise your cardiovascular system is by running. Running is the most common, and one of the most effect cardiovascular exercises. The reason is because it requires the use of nearly every muscle in our body. That’s a lot of muscles for the heart to provide oxygen to.

We can either run outside or run on a treadmill. Treadmills are great because they keep the pace up automatically, and we can track our time and distance easily. Plus it has been proven that we are 5x more likely to get on a treadmill and run in the comfort of our own home rather than face the weather outside.
