Benefits of Exercising in the Morning

early morning exerciseCountless studies have been done to determine whether exercising in the morning or exercising at night is better. It seems the vast majority have decided that early morning exercise is the best for you.

Here are some benefits of early morning exercise:

  • It jump starts your metabolism. When you exercise, your metabolism kicks into gear and starts eating your fat. The sooner you get this going, the more it will eat throughout the day. The great thing is, that it continues to work even after your exercise.
  • It’s great for ridding yourself of lingering sleepiness. If you exercise in the morning you will naturally be more energized throughout the day.
  • It’s great for your mind. Your mental acuteness will be enhanced throughout the day if you exercise. Your mind will think more clearly, and more quickly, and you will be able to focus on things longer and easier.
  • Your Circadium Rhythm will be balanced. This is our body’s built-in clock. It is how our body knows when to be tired and when to be awake. If we can make a routine of arising early to exercise, and get to bed at about the same time each night, our Circadium rhythm will get used to it, and it will be much easier for us to get up.
  • You’ll be much more likely to actually do it. Studies show that people who plan their exercise routine in the morning are 75% more likely to actually do it. This is because nothing really comes up in the morning to get in the way. If we do it later in the day it is very easy for things to come up that will take priority over it.

Good luck with all this. This is very beneficial stuff.
